Who we are
Lina Beauty Studio is a small personal beauty studio offering head spa, facial care, and relaxation treatments. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
When you book: your name, mobile number, optional email address, the treatment, date and time you choose, and whether you agreed to receive appointment texts.
At the studio: visit history, preference notes, payments you made (amount and method only — we never store card numbers), spa credit balances, and treatment pass sessions.
When you verify your phone: a one-time code (stored only in hashed form for 10 minutes) and a sign-in cookie that keeps this browser verified for up to 30 days.
When you buy spa credit or a treatment pass online, or pay a booking deposit: your name, mobile number, optional email address, the item or appointment and the amount, and any refund. Card details are entered in Square’s secure card form on our booking and purchase pages; they go straight to Square and never reach this website.
For security: your IP address is used briefly, in hashed form, to limit repeated booking, purchase, or code requests.
How we use it
To schedule and manage your appointments, contact you about them, verify your phone number, and show you your own credit and pass balances. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.
Text messages (SMS)
If you request a verification code, we text that code to the number you entered. If you opt in when booking, we may text appointment confirmations, reminders, and change or cancellation notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the SMS provider that delivers our messages on our behalf.
Who processes your information
Cloudflare hosts this website and its database. Square processes online payments and refunds for spa credit, treatment passes and booking deposits. Telnyx delivers our text messages. They process data only to provide these services to us.
How long we keep it
Customer and visit records are kept while you are a customer of the studio so balances and history stay accurate. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes; sign-in sessions after 30 days. Opt-out records are kept so we keep honoring them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop texting you. To contact us, ask Lina at your visit, or reply HELP to any of our texts.
